Cardillo serves as the head coach of Pace University Esports, after taking over the program ahead of the Fall 2025 semester.
Cardillo has been part of Pace Esports since its early days as a student-run club, joining the program in 2019. During her time as a student, she served as vice president of the club’s executive board and helped support the program’s growth before esports became Pace University’s 15th varsity sport in 2021.
A 2022 graduate of Pace University, Cardillo earned her degree in computer science and economics. Her background in technology, leadership and competitive gaming has helped her play a key role in the continued development of Pace Esports.
During the 2025-26 campaign, Cardillo helped guide Pace Esports through one of its strongest competitive seasons. The Setters saw Valorant Gold earn a Top 4 finish at the CECC National Championship in Waco, Texas, becoming the lowest seed in CECC history to reach the national semifinals. Pace also captured a NECC Division I Spring National Championship in Rainbow Six: Siege, while Valorant Lavender won a NECC Spring Regional title.
As head coach, Cardillo works with student-athletes across the program while helping create a competitive, inclusive and community-driven environment. She continues to guide the Setters as Pace Esports builds on its success as one of the University’s fastest-growing athletic programs.
