COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – Following a dominant opening week, Pace University field hockey has entered the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll at No. 10, announced Tuesday by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). The national recognition comes after the Setters opened the 2026 campaign with consecutive shutout victories over Mercy University and St. Thomas Aquinas College.

Pace began the season with a 7-0 victory over Mercy before matching the program single-game scoring record with a 9-0 win over STAC. Through two contests, the Setters have outscored their opponents 16-0, establishing a new program record for goals scored through the first two games of a season.

The appearance marks Pace's return to the NFHCA national rankings for the first time since the start of the 2024 season. The Setters entered that campaign ranked No. 9 in the Division II National Coaches Poll.

Pace's strong opening week also produced a pair of Northeast 10 Conference weekly honors, with sophomore Feline Rook earning Player of the Week and senior Anne Kopec collecting Defensive Player of the Week recognition.

The NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll ranks the top 10 teams in the country and is voted on by designated NFHCA member coaches representing each conference.

The No. 10 Setters return to the field Wednesday, Sept. 9, traveling to Millersville, PA, for a 6:00 p.m. match-up against Millersville University.
