PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – A four-goal opening week earned Pace University field hockey sophomore Feline Rook the first Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference Player of the Week honor of her career. The Noordwijkerhout, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands native played a major role in Pace's 2-0 start, finding the cage in both victories while helping the Setters score 16 goals across the opening two contests.
Rook opened the season with a goal in Pace's 7-0 win over Mercy University before putting together a career performance against St. Thomas Aquinas College.
She struck three times in the opening 6:24 against STAC, recording the first hat trick of her collegiate career and helping Pace build an early advantage on the way to a 9-0 victory.
Rook's four goals through two games have helped set the pace for an offense that has started the season in dominant fashion.
Pace returns to action Wednesday, Sept. 9, when the Setters travel to Millersville University for a 6:00 p.m. matchup in Millersville, PA.
