WORCESTER, MA - The Northeast 10 Conference Championships continued Friday evening at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, as the Women's Swimming and Diving program built on its opening-night momentum with championship performances. Behind a conference title in diving and multiple podium and scoring swims in both individual and relay events, the Setters strengthened their position in the team standings heading into the final two days of competition in Worcester.
The night strong was highlighted by NE10 Champion Caroline Ranno, who captured the 1-meter diving title with a finals score of 351.50, earning key points for the Setters.
In the pool, Eugenia Morossi earned silver in the 200 IM (2:08.15), while Sophie Greko contributed in both the 500 Freestyle (7th) and 200 IM (8th).
The sprint group delivered in the 50 Freestyle, as Caroline McKay (7th) and Jeannie Donlevy (8th) scored in the A final. In the B Final, Alexei Vinson (10th) and Jordan Barbosa chipped in an additional point.
Relay depth continued to be a strength. The 200 Freestyle Relay A team of McKay, Vinson, Greko, Donlevy placing 3rd, and the 400 Medley Relay A team finished fifth, with the B relay finishing 5th.
Pace Women sit 4th overall after Day 2 and look to continue momentum tommorrow on Day 3.
