PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Announced by the conference on Monday afternoon, Pace University freshman Anisa Akinola of Livingston, N.J., earned Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth time this year and for the second consecutive week to open the new year.

Akinola delivered another productive week for the Setters, averaging 11.0 points and 10.0 rebounds across two contests while consistently impacting the game on both ends of the floor. She recorded nine points and eight rebounds against Southern Connecticut State before posting her second double-double of the season on the road at Saint Anselm, finishing with 13 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.

Beyond the scoring column, Akinola's activity stood out throughout the week. She totaled five assists, seven offensive rebounds, and three steals, creating extra possessions and opportunities for Pace. Her work on the glass has been a constant, as she now leads the Setters in rebounding at 6.6 rebounds per game.

Through her continued growth this season, Akinola has quickly established herself as one of the conference's most impactful first-year players and is making a strong case for NE10 Rookie of the Year honors.
