SPARKILL, N.Y. – Pace University Women's Volleyball team continued its winning ways on Wednesday night, posting a three-set sweep at Saint Thomas Aquinas College. With the victory, the Setters improve to 6-1 on the year.
The Setters controlled the opening frame with steady play on both sides of the ball, building a lead early and maintaining their advantage to secure a 25–20 win.
The second set mirrored the first, as Pace responded to a mid-set push from the Spartans with poise. Strong serving and disciplined defense allowed the Blue and Gold to pull away late and take another 25-20 result for a commanding 2-0 match lead.
Pace closed the night in decisive fashion, dominating the third set from the outset. Behind a balanced attack and consistent pressure at the net, the Setters surged to a 25-13 win to complete the sweep.
The Setters will be back in action on Saturday with a home match against Holy Family University, set for 1:00 p.m.
