PLEASANTVILLE, NY – On Sunday, Mar. 9, at 11:00pm ET, Pace Men's Basketball's season lives on as they're selected as the fourth seed in the NCAA East Regional Tournament and are scheduled to face off with #5 St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) on March 15 at 7:30pm in Amherst, NY.

The Blue and Gold make the return to the big stage after missing the 2023-24 postseason and they highlighted the 2024-25 campaign with the best start to the regular season, 15-0, and their first ever appearance in the Northeast-10 (NE10) Championship on Saturday, Mar. 8.
Pace (24-7 / 14-6 NE10) and STAC (23-9 / 13-3 ECC) did not meet during the 2024-25 season, but last met on December 16, 2023, on the hardwood of the Goldstein Fitness Center. The Spartans captured the 76-69 win, and these two teams bring forth a lot of history with their first ever meeting dating back to the 1986-87 season. The Blue and Gold hold the all-time series 5-2 record.
First Round games will begin on Saturday, March 15 at top-seed and hosts Daemen University in Amherst, New York. The winner of #5 STAC vs. #4 Pace (7:30 p.m.) will advance to face the winner of #8 Bridgeport vs. #1 Daemen (5:00 p.m.). The other side of the East bracket sees #6 Assumption taking on #3 So. New Hampshire (2:30 p.m.), with #7 Dominican squaring off with #2 Adelphi (12:00 p.m.).
