PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Behind a dynamic first-half performance and a multi-goal outing from

Pace came out firing in the opening half, using two quick goals to seize control of the match. In the 12th minute,

Ten minutes later, Carr struck again, this time finishing off a setup from
Meredith Klosek to double the lead. Goalkeeper

The visitors cut the deficit early in the second half, finding the back of the net in the 57th minute to make it 2-1. Pace answered midway through the half when
Ava Viebrock capitalized on a cross from Klosek in the 73rd minute to restore a two-goal cushion.
Saint Michael's pulled within one again in the 83rd minute, but the Setters put the game away just three minutes later. Following the Purple Knight's goal,
Milani Thompson netted her first goal of her collegiate career in the 87th minute. The freshman defender found the twine off an impressive free kick from nearly 40 yards away, sealing the 4-2 victory for Pace.
Carr finished the afternoon with five shots and four on target. Viebrock added three shots and a goal, while Klosek notched a pair of assists. Fiore posted five saves in net, anchoring a defensive effort that limited Saint Michael's to a single corner kick.
