Temple Earns NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week Highlighting Setters Fourth Honor of the Season

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Announced on Monday afternoon, Pace University football's Elijah Temple has been named the Northeast 10 (NE10) Special Teams Player of the Week following his electric performance in the Setters' most recent contest.

The honor marks the fourth special teams player of the week the Blue and Gold have received this fall.

Temple made an immediate impact on the game's opening play, returning the opening kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown to ignite the Northwell Stadium crowd and give Pace an early lead. The explosive return was one of the longest in the NE10 this season and highlighted a dominant day for the Setters' special teams unit.

The sophomore standout finished with 172 kickoff return yards on four attempts, averaging an impressive 43.0 yards per return. His breakout showing provided a major spark for the Setters and underscored his growing role as one of the league's most dangerous return threats.

Temple and the Setters continue NE10 action this week as they travel to Bentley University for a Saturday afternoon contest set for 12:00 p.m.
