ANNADALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Saturday morning, Pace cross country raced at the Fred Pavlich Invite hosted by Bard College. The women's team finished in third place overall (143 points) while the men's squad earned fourth place (137 points).
For the women's 6K,
Jasmine Mares-Alvarado highlighted Pace with a top 20 finish completing in 27.34.1.
Rebekah Espiritu was next in line posting a top 30 finish with a time of 28.38.6.
Gianna Priore (29.32.2),
Meryl Mizell (30.02.8), and
Inara Coles (30.08.8) were the next three to finish on the women's side.
Adem Ozkurt led the men's team in the 8K, posting a finishing time of 30.30.2 taking 16
th place.
Derek Bustillo and
Richard Christie followed closely behind as Bustillo finished in 32.06.0 and Christie 32.44.9.
All around it was a solid performance from both teams as Pace cross country looks to keep the momentum going in their next meet.
