Game One
A three-run inning in the second was enough for Assumption to hold the lead in game one. Pace tallied one run in the sixth inning off a Mason Baronian RBI which would be all the Setter offense could manage in the game.
The top of the order for the Greyhounds was productive in the contest combining five hits and five runs batted in. Evan Remington pitched seven innings allowing three hits and no runs.
For Pace, Dylan Koch went 2-for-2 with a walk while Baronian drove in an RBI in a 1-for-4 performance.

After the first three innings remained scoreless, Assumption tallied the first run of the game with a sacrifice fly. Heading into the sixth, the score favored Assumption, 1-0.
Following a run scored on a wild pitch the Blue and Gold swiped the lead from Assumption after a George Provel single up the middle. After six innings, Pace held a 2-1 advantage. The lead did not hold for long as the Greyhounds rallied to bring two runs across in the final innings, walking off the Setters.
