eMANCHESTER, N.H. – Traveling to face one of the top teams in the NE10, the Pace University men's basketball team lost a 66-49 matchup at Southern New Hampshire on Saturday. The defeat moves the Setters' record to 14-8 this season (6-8, NE10).
Sophomore
Justin O'Neill (Bedford, N.H./Tilton School) served as a bright spot for the Blue and Gold. The New Hampshire native posted his first career double-double thanks to 14 points and 10 rebounds (both career highs). He also added team-highs in both steals (3) and assists (2).
Senior
Adeleye Oyekanmi (Staten Island, NY/Curtis) finished second on Pace with eight points while
Bryan Powell (Middletown, N.Y./Canterbury School) and Branden Powell each tallied seven points. Â
Pace's 49 points in the contest marks its lowest total of the season. The Setters finished 17-of-58 from the field, including a 5-for-27 effort from three-point range.
