GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Following an opening-game win over top-seeded Adelphi on Thursday, the Pace University softball team dropped a pair of contests at the NCAA East Regional on Friday. The Setters' 2022 season ends with an overall record of 28-21.
Game One – #4 Caldwell 3, #8 Pace 2
Sitting just a strike away from a berth into Saturday's championship game, Pace was unable to close the deal.

Freshman
Alexa Borino (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst) scored both of Pace's runs from the lead-off spot.
Game Two – #1 Adelphi 4, #8 Pace 0
