PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – With their 2022 opener slated for later this month, the Pace University baseball team officially announced its schedule on Monday. The Setters will play a total of 44 games, including 24 at Peter X. Finnerty Field. 

Coach Manning's squad will start its new campaign on the road for just the second time in the last seven years (2020).

Pace's debut is scheduled for Feb. 26 in Philadelphia, Pa. where a pair of non-conference games await. The Setters will take on the University of Sciences in the morning prior to facing West Chester University in the afternoon.

Following their trip to Philly, the Blue and Gold will play 11 straight games at home from March 2-20.

Saint Thomas Aquinas College will visit on March 2 and March 19, while the Setters will also host non-conference games against Dominican College (March 4-6), Mercy College (March 16) and Goldey-Beacom College (March 20) during that stretch.

Pace will battle Mercy once again on April 27, this time taking the trip to Dobbs Ferry.

The Setters' non-conference portion will also feature road trips to Molloy College (March 30) and University of Bridgeport (May 3), while Pace will host Caldwell University on April 12.

Pace's NE10 openers will take place in Pleasantville on March 12-13 with a three-game series against Assumption.

The Setters' other home NE10 series' will be versus Adelphi (April 2-3), Saint Rose (April 15-16) and Southern Connecticut State (April 23-24).

The Blue and Gold will play their road NE10 matchups against New Haven (March 25-27), Bentley (April 29-30) and Le Moyne (May 6-7).

The 2022 NE10 Baseball Tournament is scheduled to take place from May 10-14.
