RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Setter senior
Bryan Powell (Middletown, N.Y./Canterbury School) scored 18 points to lead all players in Pace men's basketball's 78-55 road win over Felician on Tuesday night. Powell scored a near double-double with nine rebounds.
Setter junior guard
Lyron Bennett (Boston, Mass./Tech Boston / Southern Connecticut State) added 14 points while senior forward
Frankyn Batista (Barahona, Dominican Republic/Hyde / AIC) had 12 points and 13 rebounds. Batista also added three blocks and a steal to his statline.
Three players neared double digits with nine points each with
Brandon Powell (Middletown, N.Y./Pine Bush / FDU),
Jabari Nurse (Randolph, Mass./New Hampton Prep) and
Adeleye Oyekanmi (Staten Island, NY/Curtis).
At halftime, the Setters led 33-28.
With the win, Pace advances to 8-3 on the season.
For Felician, Sean McCarthy led with 18 points.
The Setters are back in action on Saturday, Dec. 17 with a road contest at Saint Thoas Acquinas in Sparkhill, N.Y.
