Tuesday, Nov. 29 is our annual Giving Tuesday Challenge in support of Pace University student-athletes. The goal for this year within the Athletics Department is to get 500 gifts toward Pace Athletics. No gift is too large or too small! And each gift will go directly to helping our football student-athletes succeed of the course and in the classroom.
Our football student-athletes finished 6-4 and 4-3 in the NE10. We celebrated the careers of 31 student-athletes on senior day and were honored to receive many regular season honors from the NE10 including Carlton Aiken as Most Valuable Player, Kevin Toote as Offensive Lineman of the Year and Nasier Givens as Defensive Lineman of the Year. Pace was the only team to have multiple individual award winners. Eleven players received All-Conference honors with Aiken, Toote and Givens along with Ramir Tann-Davis (Paterson, N.J./Paterson Eastside), Jacky Chen (Port Jefferson, N.Y./Port Jefferson), Dustin Huseinovic (Harrison, N.J./Harrison), Teddy Harper (East Orange, N.J./Depaul Catholic), Xavier Young (Newark, N.J./Abraham Clark), Anthony Holmes (Minehill, N.J./Pope John XXIII), Jeremy Mendez (Paterson, N.J./Saint Joseph Regional) and Nasir Robinson (Penns Grove, N.J./Penns Grove). The 2022 season was the 55th year of Pace Football, and we were happy to welcome back our alumni and friends at both our season-opener and alumni game on Sept. 1 and homecoming on Oct. 14.
As always, our football team has found a way to get it done, but we can't do it without the support of our Setter family.
This Giving Tuesday, I am asking that you will join me in making a gift at www.PaceUAthletics.com/givingtuesday22 in support of the football program and in honor of your favorite student-athlete. Your gift will help us continue to compete nationally by supporting team travel, meals, equipment, training and recruiting. Make sure to select or type in "Football" in the drop down.
The continued support of our Setter family, friends and alumni is vital to continuing to provide the opportunity for our student-athletes to reach their goals in the classroom, in competition, in the community, and in life. We are looking forward to another successful season and can't wait to get started!
Sincerely,

Andy Rondeau
