PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – With 17 days remaining until their 2021 season-opener, the Pace University football team was picked fifth in the Northeast-10 Conference's Preseason Coaches' Poll released on Monday. New Haven was chosen as the league favorite with 62 total points, including six first-place votes.
The Setters, who will begin their new campaign at East Stroudsburg on Sept. 2, have finished tied for third in the NE10 standings following each of the last two seasons (2018 and 2019).
Pace's 13-7 record across its last 20 games marks the best winning percentage for the program in consecutive years since 1980.Â
Following their season-opener at ESU, the Blue and Gold will make their home debut on Sept. 10 against AIC at 7 p.m.
