Pace Football Announces 2021 Recruiting Class

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – With hopeful eyes set on a full return to the gridiron this fall, the Pace University football team has announced the addition of 16 student-athletes to the program as part of Wednesday's National Signing Day. Head Coach Andy Rondeau's newest recruiting class is a mix of offensive, defensive and special teams talents, hailing from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Maryland.

"This class is an amazing class based on the adversity that our assistant coaches and all of our signees and their families worked through to find a way to get it done! The challenges to get to campus, to communicate over zoom after zoom. This group of signees, their families and the Pace football coaching staff were awesome. The future is bright for this class and their mindset first and foremost."
 
"This class of prospects addresses a lot of our positional needs. It is marked by a number of really long athletic bodies that will develop into tight ends, defensive ends and offensive tackles for the Setters. This class is also marked by a number of talented defensive back guys. Though they are talented guys that can play on both sides of the ball, we are in the middle of growing the defensive backfield that was impacted over the past year."
