Pace Volleyball Defeated at Franklin Pierce

RINDGE, N.H. – Playing a second match in as many days in New Hampshire, the Pace University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-14) contest at Franklin Pierce on Saturday.

It was a balanced offense for Pace as seven different players registered multiple kills, while five Setters each recorded at least one service ace.

Sophomore Madisen Lupica (Buchanon, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) offered the high mark with six kills, while classmate Cydney Gardner (Snellville, Ga./Brookwood) chipped in four putaways of her own. Gardner also earned Pace's lone block of the afternoon.

Senior Leonarda Uljic (Bronx, N.Y./St. Catharine) served as the main distributor for the Setters with nine assists, in addition to picking up eight digs. Classmate Emily Cockell (Springfield, Mo./Kickapoo) also registered eight digs, while freshman Morgan Amos (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) finished the match with a team-high 12.
