PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Playing in their final game of the regular season, the Pace University women's soccer team registered a 2-0 victory over Caldwell University on Thursday night. The Setters finish the 2021 campaign with a record of 7-7-3.
Carolina Ivanov (Ipswich, Mass./Ipswich) capped off her terrific senior season by scoring both of the Setters' goals against the Cougars. She struck in the 29
th and 68
th minutes to finish 2021 with a team-best seven goals and 15 points.
Freshman
Allison Carr (Plantsville, Conn./Southington) earned the assist on Pace's opening goal, while junior
Cecilia Puentes (Garwood, N.J./Arthur L Johnson) found Ivanov for the second tally of the night.
The Setters put together a 23-5 advantage in total shots, while Caldwell's two keepers combined for five saves in net.
