WALTHAM, Mass. – Facing one of their toughest matchups of the season, the Pace University football team dropped a 26-0 contest at 18
th-ranked Bentley on Saturday afternoon.
The Setters' defense played well in defeat, allowing just 19 points to Bentley's top-scoring offense. The Falcons currently lead in the NE10 in points per game this season (33.3).
Pace racked up a season-high nine tackles-for-loss, while also recording a sack, an interception and a pass break-up.
Seniors
Nasier Givens (Newark, N.J./Orange) and
Dustin Huseinovic (Harrison, N.J./Harrison) each tallied a team-high 11 tackles, while
Nick Totten (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) nabbed his first career interception in the first quarter.
On the offensive side of the ball, senior
Kashmier Jackson (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) registered a team-high 36 rushing yards. Classmate
Ramir Tann-Davis (Paterson, N.J./Paterson Eastside) led Pace's receiving corps with four catches for 15 yards.
