Pace Football Falls at No. 18 Bentley

WALTHAM, Mass. – Facing one of their toughest matchups of the season, the Pace University football team dropped a 26-0 contest at 18th-ranked Bentley on Saturday afternoon.

The Setters' defense played well in defeat, allowing just 19 points to Bentley's top-scoring offense. The Falcons currently lead in the NE10 in points per game this season (33.3).

Pace racked up a season-high nine tackles-for-loss, while also recording a sack, an interception and a pass break-up.

Seniors Nasier Givens (Newark, N.J./Orange) and Dustin Huseinovic (Harrison, N.J./Harrison) each tallied a team-high 11 tackles, while Nick Totten (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) nabbed his first career interception in the first quarter.

On the offensive side of the ball, senior Kashmier Jackson (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) registered a team-high 36 rushing yards. Classmate Ramir Tann-Davis (Paterson, N.J./Paterson Eastside) led Pace's receiving corps with four catches for 15 yards.

The Setters will be back home next Saturday to host Franklin Pierce (1 p.m.) as part of Homecoming Weekend on campus.
