NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Pace University women's soccer team was defeated at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday night by a score of 2-1.
It was a late game-winner for the Owls that proved to be the difference in the contest. Kelsey Burr broke a 1-1 tie in the 88
th minute.
Senior
Carolina Ivanov (Ipswich, Mass./Ipswich) tied the game up at 1-1 for Pace with her second goal of the season in the 56
th minute.
In addition to Ivanov's tally, the Setters put five other shots on goal while also earning five corner kicks.
Freshman goalkeeper
Perri Anderson (Mountainville, N.Y./Cornwall Central) posted seven saves in a complete-game effort in net.
