NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Pace University women's soccer team was defeated at Southern Connecticut State on Tuesday night by a score of 2-1.

It was a late game-winner for the Owls that proved to be the difference in the contest. Kelsey Burr broke a 1-1 tie in the 88^th minute.

Senior Carolina Ivanov (Ipswich, Mass./Ipswich) tied the game up at 1-1 for Pace with her second goal of the season in the 56^th minute.

In addition to Ivanov's tally, the Setters put five other shots on goal while also earning five corner kicks.

Freshman goalkeeper Perri Anderson (Mountainville, N.Y./Cornwall Central) posted seven saves in a complete-game effort in net.
