PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – As the Pleasantville campus gears up for Homecoming Weekend, the Pace University Department of Athletics has announced an update to its in-person spectator policy. The Setters' newest policies will go into effect on Saturday for Pace Football's 1 p.m. contest against Franklin Pierce. Â
Proof of Vaccination
All visitors over the age of 12 attending Pace University athletic contests or sponsored events will be required to show either:

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
To be considered fully vaccinated, you must be ≥2 weeks following receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series or ≥2 weeks following receipt of one dose of a single-dose vaccine.

Negative results of a COVID-19 PCR test administered no more than 72 hours prior to arrival on campus if you have a religious or medical exemption

Fully recovered from previous infection of COVID-19 and proof of a positive test within 90 days of the event.

Health Screening
All visitors to the Pleasantville campus will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire that must be displayed to security upon arriving to campus at the security gate as well as when entering an athletic facility. Only those visitors who received a green check will be permitted on campus. Please clickÂ

Face Coverings
With the health and safety of Pace University students, student-athletes, coaches & staff, opponents, fans and community as our main priority, the Department of Athletics is requiring that all spectators wear a mask at Pace home indoor athletic events.  Â
· The spectator universal masking policy is required regardless of vaccination status.    Â
· In addition to universal masking, we ask that unvaccinated spectators remain physically distanced whenever possible.
· Please always have a mask available when you are on campus.Â
Additional Safety Measures
These guidelines will be revisited periodically and revised, depending on public health concerns and warnings.
· At this time, tailgating is permitted. Parking lots will open 2 hours prior to the start of the event and gates will open 1 hour prior to the start of the event. Spectators will have to show proof of vaccination prior to entering tailgate lot.Â
· Spectators are not permitted in any campus building outside of the Goldstein Fitness Center for volleyball, swimming and diving and basketball games.
