PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Heading into year No. 20 under Head Coach Hank Manning, the Pace University baseball team has officially released its schedule for the 2020 season.
 
Coming off a 30-win season a year ago, the Setters are slated for 46 contests in 2020, with 21 taking place at Pace's Peter X. Finnerty Field.
 
"Our league always provides a tough schedule, and this year our non-conference games are just as difficult," said Manning. "I think that is a good thing as it will be a test for our team to come play with their 'A Game' each and every day."
 
The season begins with a four-game weekend in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Setters will play their first two games of 2020 in a doubleheader against University of Bridgeport on Feb. 21. before playing Post University and Concordia College on Feb. 22 and 23 respectively.
 
Pace opens up at home on Feb. 29 with a doubleheader against Bloomfield and a final game in the series on March 1. The Blue and Gold will then host Nyack College (March 3) and Queens College (March 4) before playing a home-and-home series against New York Tech and Felician University from March 6 to March 16.
 
Conference play begins on March 20 with a four-game series against the University of New Haven. Pace will play all four games in Connecticut, including a doubleheader on March 21.
 
The Setters then return home for a four-game series against Adelphi University to wrap up the month of March. April will begin with a single matchup at Molloy College ahead of four games in Springfield, Mass. against American International College.
 
The first time playing at home in April will be a weekend of back-to-back doubleheaders against the College of Saint. Rose on April 10 and 11.
 
Pace will then travel for a single game against Queens (April 14), before a five-game homestead against Southern Connecticut State University from April 17-19 and a single game against Molloy in Pleasantville on April 23.
 
Pace will conclude the 2020 regular season with eight straight games on the road, beginning with three games at Bentley (April 24-26) followed by a single game on the road against Dominican and four games in doubleheader fashion against Le Moyne College (May 1-2).
