HARRISON, N.Y. – It was a beautiful day for golf on Monday as the Pace University Athletics Department held its 22
nd Annual Golf Classic at
Willow Ridge Country Club in Harrison, N.Y. More than 100 Pace supporters came out for the event, raising nearly $30,000 to benefit the student-athletes at Pace University.
"Our annual Golf Classic continues to be one of the best received events we do all year," said Pace's Director of Athletics, Mark Brown. "To gather the Pace community around a recreational round of golf, at a beautiful course, with outstanding food; all for the benefit of our students is a truly wonderful thing. Thank you to all of our alumni, faculty, staff and friends who shared the day with us and support our programs."
Along with 18 holes of golf at one of the premiere clubs in Westchester County, the day featured a number of on-course contests, a post-round chipping contest, dinner, awards and prizes. The Precision Floor team of Frank Calabro, Chris Calabro, Bobby Hughes, and Louis Rinaldi nabbed first place, while the Anthony Property Group squad of Jerry Levin, Vance Levin, Mark Larobine, and Joe Buchetto finished second.
