Inside the Numbers
*Freshman
Lauren Schetter (Beacon, NY/Beacon High School) was the leading playmaker for the Setters on both sides of the court Wednesday, scoring a team-leading 15 points for the offense. The scoring output was her second highest total this season, the most points the freshman has scored since Nov. 18. Entering the game as Pace's leading rebounder this season, Schetter continued her strong play on the glass, pulling down a season-high 13 rebounds. In addition to tallying her second-career double-double, Schetter also added a block and a steal to her night's statline.

Alexandra Monteleone (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) rounded out the scoring effort by combining for 22 points. The 12 points from Rosalbo was her highest total in the team's past five games, while the 10 points from Monteleone marks the eighth game this year she has scored double digits.
*The Setter defense limited opposing shooters to a .333 shooting percentage from the field for the second time in three games. Southern New Hampshire shot just .273 from the field in the first half.
*The Penmen were able to control the ball effectively, overcoming the Setters' defensive pressure. The 11 turnovers forced by Pace is the fewest they have recorded in a game this season.
How it Happened
Southern New Hampshire took control early, opening the game with an 8-2 run over the first two and a half minutes of the opening quarter. Pace responded with a run of their own, outscoring SNHU 15-2 over the next four minutes to take a 17-10 lead. The Penmen clawed back with five unanswered points, but Pace closed the quarter on a 7-3 run to hold a 24-18 lead at the end of the quarter.
With the Setters opening the second with the quarter's first points, Pace appeared set to continue building on their lead. With Pace shooting 2-of-15 for the quarter, SNHU was able to cut the Setter lead down to 28-27 at halftime.
The Penmen came out in the second half with their offense clicking, outscoring Pace 17-8 in the third quarter. After the Setters scored five of the quarter's first eight points, the Penmen closed out the quarter on a 14-3 run to take a 44-36 lead at the end of the quarter they never surrendered. SNHU outscored Pace 18-13 in the final quarter to secure the 62-49 victory.
