WALTHAM, Mass. – The Pace University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 contest (13-25, 14-25, 17-25) at Bentley University on Friday night. The loss puts the Setters at 7-6 inside the Northeast-10 Conference with one match to play in the regular season.
Sydney Lecker (Littleton, CO/Chatfield) led the way for the Blue and Gold, nearly recording her seventh double-double of the season. The senior finished the night with 10 kills and nine digs.
Sophomore
Maria Snelling (Cleveland, OH/Gilmour Academy) also put forth a strong effort, racking up eight kills with just two errors. Classmate
Tatjana Calimpong-Burke (Waianae, HI/Iolani) chipped in six kills, to go along with 10 digs.
Sophomore setter
Samantha Nidini (Houston, TX/Clearlake) tallied 20 assists and eight digs.
Meilyne Atienza (Houston, TX/DeBakey) also had eight digs.
Up Next
The Setters wrap up their regular season tomorrow afternoon at Stonehill College. Pace and the Skyhawks are set for a 1 p.m. start.
