MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Pace University football team fell in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup at Saint Anselm College Saturday afternoon at Grappone Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saint Anselm ran out to a 21-0 lead before the Setters put together a long drive with 5:30 left in the second quarter.
- Starting on their own 20-yard line, the Setters stuck to the ground, rushing 10 times out of 11 plays.

Delaney Wallace (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) ran for 17 yards on 3rd-and-9 to keep the drive going early on.
- Two plays later, Wallace scampered for 25 yards to get Pace into Hawk territory.

Michael Scotman (White Plains, NY/White Plains) managed to convert a 4th-and-1 with a six-yard rush down to the Saint Anselm 20.
- Scotman then rumbled for 16 yards to give Pace 1st-and-goal on the four-yard line.
- Wallace took the handoff and brought it into the end zone to cap off the 80-yard drive and get the Setters on the board.
- The Hawks managed to score again with just seven seconds left on the clock to take a 28-7 lead into halftime.
- Saint Anselm pushed its lead out to 42-7 with two scores in the third, and that proved to be the final score of the game.
PACE LEADERS
- Wallace had his best game of the season, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.
- Scotman added 30 yards on seven totes.

Matthew Corrie (South Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) led all players with 15 tackles in the game, including one for loss of yards. He also blocked an extra points and broke up a pass.

Kadeem Langhorne (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) made 13 tackles in the game, four of which went for a loss of yards. He also tallied half a sack and broke up a pass.

Marc Arboleda (Levittown, NY/MacArthur) also picked up half a sack and three tackles.

Jasheem Banks (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY/Sachem North) made seven tackles, including one for loss, and defended a pair of passes.

- The Setters hit the road once again on Saturday, Oct. 29, when they visit No. 14 LIU Post in Brookville, N.Y. The Northeast-10 Conference matchup is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
