GARDEN CITY, NY- The #8 seed Setters fell #5 Wilmington on
Copy the second day of the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Wildcats eliminated the Setters 2-0 as Pace finished the 2015 season at 25-17. Wilmington advances to the final day of the regional on Sunday.

The Setters were limited to a first inning single by
Shelby Yung as Pace didn't see another base runner until the seventh.

In the seventh,
Jeane Drury reached on an error by the left fielder and pinch hitter
Haley Hernandez drew a walk to give the Setters runners at first and second with one out. Wilmington starter Chelsea Botsch retired the final two batters as she tossed a complete game.

For the Setters,
Kaitlynn Nelson tossed a complete game, allowing two runs on six hits and struck out three as she falls to 9-8.

The Setters had a strong showing in their first-ever NCAA Division II Tournament despite losing both their games this weekend. Head Coach
Claudia Stabile guided the Setters to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in her 34th season as finished the season with 643 career victories. Seniors Drury,
Hana Wright and
Natalie Gellos were all regular starters this season with Wright (23) and Drury (22) finishing 1-2 all-time on the Pace record book in career homeruns.
