SPRINGFIELD, MA- The Setters dropped the final game of a three-game weekend series to American International 4-2 in a Northeast-10 Southwest Division game. Pace falls to 18-11 overall and 10-7 in the NE-10 SW Division, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 7-20 and 4-10 in division play.

The Setters got on the board in the opening inning as
Larissa Labs reached base on a fielder's choice and scored on a double by
Jeane Drury. The Yellow Jackets answered with three runs in the bottom of the first but Pace got a run back in the second.

Ashley Lew reached third on an error with one out and scored on a sacrifice fly by
Amanda Limon. American International added a run in the fifth but the Setters were unable to rally late in the game.

On the mound,
Jaclyn Flores (4-4) went two innings, allowing three runs on four hits, while striking out one.
Caitlin McCann went the final four innings, allowing one run on four hits and struck out three.

The Setters return to action as they host New Haven in a pivotal NE-10 SW Division game on Tuesday, April 21 at 4 pm on the Pace Briarcliff campus.
