PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- Junior Alyssa Marchino tallied 10 kills and 15 digs as the Pace Volleyball team defeated the Nyack Warriors 3-1 (25-18, 29-27, 20-25, 25-17) to close out play at the Dowling Tournament. The Setters improve to 1-2 on the season, while the Warriors fall to 0-3.
 
Junior Macey Danker totaled eight kills and 13 digs in the win along with two blocks, while freshman Haley Kain added nine kills. Junior Rebecca Italiano chipped in 13 digs and four aces, while junior Sara Anastasi recorded 24 assists and 10 digs. Nicollette Illuzzi finished with 14 assists and three aces in the victory.
 
The Setters and the Warriors will renew acquaintances as the teams will meet on Pace's home court at the Goldstein Fitness Center on Tuesday, September 9 at 7 pm.
