Pleasantville, N.Y.- The Setters fell to the Skyhawks of Stonehill College in a doubleheader on Saturday.  The Setters are now 5-4 overall and 0-3 in the Northeast-10 conference while the Skyhawks are 8-10 overall and 2-0 in the conference.  
Megan Ruonavaara pitched a 11-0 shut-out for the Skyhawks in the opener while they also saw success on offense.  Stonehill saw runs in the first and second innings but saw their best inning in the fourth, totaling seven runs on five hits.  Lindsay McKillop homered and had a total of two of the teams' eight RBI's on the game. 
Chelsea Shea (Babylon, NY/West Babylon) (Babylon NY / West Babylon) suffered the loss for the Setters and stands at 2-2 on the season.  Natalie Gellos (Seattle, WA/Holy Names Academy) (Seattle, WA / Holy Names Academy), Katie Lange (Upland, CA/St. Lucy's Priory) (Upland, CA / St. Lucy's Priory) and Samantha Garcia (Rancho Cucamonga, CA/Rancho Cucamonga) (Rancho Cucamonga, CA / Rancho Cucamonga) all tallied hits for the Setters.
In the nightcap, Stonehill started the scoring in the second inning with a lone run but followed up with three runs on four hits, including two back-to-back homeruns in the third followed by 2 runs on 2 hits in the fourth. 
Pace came alive in the fifth inning as Garcia singled and then Erin Wood (Dover Plains, NY/Dover) (Dover Plains, NY / Dover) advanced her to third on a double. Lana Buchbinder (San Francisco, CA/George Washington) (San Francisco, CA / George Washington) hit an RBI sacrifice fly to left field to bring Garcia home which put Pace on the board.  Stonehill responded in the sixth and seventh innings with a run in each to wrap the second game up, 8-1. 
Wood totaled two hits in the nightcap for the Setters, one of them a double, while Hanna Wright (Hillsboro, OR / Valley Catholic), Garcia and Buchbinder each contributed a hit.  Kelly Fisher (Castle Rock, CO / Douglas County) pitched all seven innings, striking out two for her first loss on the season. 
Stonehill pitcher McKillop tallied her first win on the season, totaling five hits and one strike out. 
The Setters host Bentley University tomorrow in a conference doubleheader with the first game starting at 12 pm.
