SYRACUSE, N.Y.- Denzel Primus-Devonish (Riverdale, MD/St. John's College) (Riverdale, MD/St. John's College) became the 33rd member of Pace's 1000-points club and became only the eighth player in school history to record 1,000 points, 300 assists and 100 steals. The Setters fell to the Dolphins 83-52 in their final game of the season as Pace finishes at 9-17 overall and 6-16 in the Northeast-10 Conference. Le Moyne improves to 13-13 overall and 10-12 in conference play.
The Setters held an 8-4 lead in the first few minutes of play but Le Moyne rallied with a 11-2 burst to take a 15-10 lead with 12:38 left in the opening half. The Dolphins added to their lead as they built a 40-13 lead with 3:11 to play in the half and led 44-22 at the break. The Dolphins kept their double digit into the second half
For the Setters, Primus-Devonish netted his 1000th points with a pair of free throws at the 7:42 mark of the first half. He finished with 10 points in the game. Salvatore Vitello (Bridgewater, NJ / Bridgewater-Raritan) led Pace with 16 points, three board and three steals. Eric Dansby (Hoover, AL/Hoover) (Hoover, AL/Hoover) tallied 15 points, three rebounds and three steals, while Jonathan Merceus (Union, NJ/Union) led the Setters with seven rebounds.
