Setters Fall to Bentley in NE-10 Opener

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) led the Setters with 13 kills along with 12 assists as Pace fell to the Bentley Falcons 3-1 (22-25, 25-18, 23-25, 20-25) on Pace Volleyball Alumni Day. The Setters fall to 6-12 overall and 0-1 in the Northeast-10, while the Falcons improve to 5-9 overall and 1-2 in the Northeast-10.

For Pace, freshman Megan Kurz (San Diego, Calif./Patrick Henry) (San Diego, CA./ Patrick Henry) added 12 kills and four digs, while senior Susana Verdugo-Del Real (Chula Vista, CA/Southwest ) had 11 assists, six digs, and a service aces. Sara Atai (Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) (Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) led the Setters with 29 assists, and Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) recorded 12 digs.  

The Setters return to action on Friday October 5 as they will host the Panthers of Adelphi University in a Northeast-10 conference match-up at 7:00 pm at Goldstein Fitness Center on Pace's Pleasantville campus.
