SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- The Pace University volleyball team continues to make their way through the Northeast-10 Conference schedule with their fifth straight win as they defeat the Yellow Jackets of American International College 3-1 (24-26, 27-25, 25-22, 25-17). With the win the Setters improve to 12-14 overall and 6-3 in the NE-10 while the Yellow Jackets fall to 11-11 overall and 5-5 in the NE-10.
Leading the way for the Setters was senior Tamilee Webb (Hartsdale, NY/Ardsley) (Hartsdale, NY/ Ardsley) with 18 kills, nine total blocks and six digs. Senior and NE-10 Player of the Week Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) totaled 14 kills and 14 digs on the night. NE-10 Rookie of the Week Megan Kurz (San Diego, Calif./Patrick Henry) (San Diego, CA/Patrick Henry) added 12 kills and 10 digs on the night to continue her solid play. Senior libero Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) contributed 17 digs as well in the victory.
