PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- Freshman Megan Kurz (San Diego, Calif./Patrick Henry) (San Diego, CA/ Patrick Henry) had 12 kills, and 12 digs, while Senior Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) had 13 kills, and 11 digs as Pace sailed past Southern Connecticut in straight sets 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-20). 

The Setters improve to 9-14 overall and 3-3 in the Northeast-10 conference, while Southern Connecticut drops to 18-6 overall, and 6-4 in the Northeast-10
Conference.

For Pace, Kurz added four assists, a service aces, and a solo block, while Brooke Speyerer (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) (Winter Haven, FL/Lake Region) had 27 assists, six kills, seven digs, and two service aces. Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) had 23 digs, six assists, and one service aces, while Sara Atai (Setauket, NY/Ward Melville) had three service aces, and three kills.

The Setters return to action on Friday October 19, as they travel to North Andover, MA to take on the Warriors of Merrimack College in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at 7 pm.
