The Pace University Athletics Department has named Christina Manno the new head coach of the Pace University dance team. Manno brings with her many years of experience in the arts, specifically dance performance and choreography.

Manno has been an instructor at Cinzia’s Dance Studio in Eastchester, N.Y. for the last five years, serving as founder and head coach of its competition team. She has also been an instructor at The Little Dance Company in Brookfield, Conn., and at Pound Ridge School of Dance in Pound Ridge, N.Y.

In her role as head coach at Cinzia’s Dance Studio, Manno choreographs advanced lyrical and jazz dances and intermediate hip-hop routines for the competition team dancers. She has also been choreographing routines for all competition team levels for the team’s upcoming performance at Disney World. She is in charge of scheduling rehearsals, competitions and special dance team events, and also manages competition entries.

Manno has a varied dance background, having experience in a number of styles, fitness and production. She also performed with the Gotham City Cheerleaders for two years.

Manno graduated from Manhattanville College in May 2012 with a bachelor of arts in dance and theatre with a concentration in dance therapy. She also graduated with a minor in psychology.
