Junior wide receiver Tyler Mason led the Setters with 106 total yards from scrimmage in Saturday's matchup with Southern Connecticut State University, earning him Homecoming MVP honors. He was the team's leading receiver with 73 yards and a touchdown, and also amassed 33 yards on the ground. Mason got the latter on a perfectly executed fake punt, which was snapped directly to him and rushed for 33 yards, helping set up the Setters' first score of the game. He was then hit deep on a beautiful flea flicker for a 73-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown.
