Junior quarterback Faustino Saucedo entered the game in the second half of Saturday's matchup against New Haven, and breathed new life into the Setters' offense. In just two quarters, he went 16-of-25 for 281 yards and a touchdown. Trailing 38-0 at the half, Saucedo came in and immediately led Pace on a 12-play, 75-yard touchdown drive, which included passes of 34 and 27 yards to get Pace in position for a one-yard touchdown run by Michael Scotman. On the Setters' next drive, Saucedo once again led the team down the field on a 10-play, 75-yard drive for another touchdown. In the fourth, Saucedo used a masterful pump fake to get wide receiver Alex Toplyn open down the near sideline, and hit him in stride for a 74-yard touchdown.
