Jane Kasparian was the hero in Pace's season opener, scoring the overtime game-winner against No. 8 Bloomsburg University on Saturday to lead the Setters to a 1-0 upset win. She deflected a shot up and over the keeper for the win just over three minutes into the extra period. This marked the second year in a row that Pace defeated a nationally-ranked team in overtime in its home opener.
