Sophomore center fielder Larissa Labs was named the 2016 Northeast-10 Conference Softball Championship MVP after a stellar performance in the Conference Championship Tournament. She batted .833 (5-for-6) with two doubles, a home run, five RBIs and three runs scored. She hit a three-RBI double in the semifinal round against No. 25 Adelphi, which proved to be the game-winning RBIs. She hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning of the Championship game against Southern New Hampshire, which also proved to be the game-winning RBIs. She was also named to the 2016 Northeast-10 Conference Softball All-Championship Team.
