Junior right fielder Cory Capaldi hit two home runs to lead Pace to an opening-day victory over Dowling College on Sunday. He hit a solo shot in the sixth, followed by a three-run blast in the seventh. He went 3-for-4 on the day with four RBIs and four runs scored.
