Powell, who has been a tremendous offensive presence for the Blue and Gold all year, continued to be a strong offensive presence. Against Adelphi, Powell provided a game-high 19 points on 50 percent shooting from the field to go along with eight rebounds, a pair of assists and three steals. Over the weekend in an overtime battle with Saint Michael's, Powell turned in a team-high 23 points on 11-19 shooting while adding five boards, four helpers, one block and two steals. On the year, Powell is the top scorer for the Setters, averaging 15.7 points while also leading in rebounding with 5.1 boards per game.Â
