Almonte has been the most consistent hitter in Pace's lineup so far this season and continued to show that in the Setters' doubleheader against AIC over the weekend. The senior opened up game one with a two-run home run in his first plate appearance of the day. Following his second long ball of 2021, Almonte would go on to finish a single shy of the cycle in a 3-for-4, four-RBI first game. The left fielder is currently batting .444 and leads the Blue and Gold with 14 runs, 12 hits, nine RBIs and two home runs.
