Galarza put together an impressive weekend at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, racing to a pair of medals and three school records. He was especially outstanding on Sunday night when he dominated the 1650, topping the field by more than 14 seconds. Galarza's time of 16:02.69 not only broke his own school records in both the 1650 and the 1,000-free, but also finished lower than the NCAA B-Cut. He also finished second in the 500-free on Friday night, clocking yet another school record with his time of 4:36.68.
