Howard closed out the final competition of the semester in style, continuing her strong rookie campaign. The freshman diver posted an NCAA-qualifying score in the one-meter dive in Saturday's meet at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Her 266.5 score surpassed the national-score standard of 255 as well as the 13.0 degree of difficulty across six dives. She also put up an impressive score in the three-meter event, earning a mark of 261.30.
