Wirchansky was dominant on the mound in his start against Saint Rose on Saturday. The senior threw seven scoreless innings, allowing four hits while striking out 11 as the Setters defeated the Golden Knights, 6-0. Wirchansky has now struck out 27 batters over his last two starts while lowering his season ERA to 1.31, ranking third in the Northeast-10 Conference. The southpaw has held opposing batters to a .174 batting average this year.
