Pace baseball finishes off the regular season with a pair of doubleheaders Friday and Saturday at the College of Saint Rose. The Setters are fighting for playoff positioning, while the Golden Knights look to jump into a postseason spot. Over the last four games, grad student outfielder Mitchell McCabe (Chelmsford, Mass./Chelmsford/ Bridgton Academy) has hit .462 with a pair of home runs, four RBI and one double. Sophomore shortstop Mason Baronian (River Vale, N.J./Pascack Valley) is hitting .429 over that stretch, driving in three runs with a pair of doubles.

The No. 2 ranked women's lacrosse team won its NE10 Conference Championship Quarterfinal matchup Tuesday, May 2, defeating Southern New Hampshire University 19-6. The team now advances to the semifinal round to host No. 5 seed and No. 17 ranked Saint Anselm College. Earlier this season on April 15, the Setters defeated the Hawks 18-7. In the previous matchup, Pace had three players score at least five points, as grad student midfielders Aleya Corretjer (Thiells, N.Y./North Rockland) and Emma Rafferty (Bay Shore, N.Y./Islip) hit the mark, while junior midfielder Angelina Porcello (Eastchester, N.Y./Eastchester) also scored five, leading the team with four goals on the day. The winner will advance to the NE10 Championship game Sunday, May 7.
