Relive the Record: 2019 Pace Football Scores Most Points in School History

Pace Athletics RELIVE the RECORD

As we cap off the 2019-20 school year, we would like to revisit some of the major team and individual records that have been broken in recent seasons.

Pace Football (2019) | Most Points Scored in a Season (313)

Led by the NE10's Offensive Player of the Year, Carlton Aiken (Gibbstown, N.J./Paulsboro), the Setters found the end zone more times than any team in program history. Pace scored at least 20 points in all 10 contests, while finishing the year with an average of 31.3 points per game. The Blue and Gold also surpassed 50 points in a win over Franklin Pierce, tying their largest margin of victory in school history (52-7).

Aiken finished the year with the most passing touchdowns in the NE10, while senior wide out Darius Jones (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) led the league in receiving touchdowns with 13. Jhalen Bien-Aime (Dorchester, Mass./Bridgton Academy), already Pace's all-time leading rusher, also notched a school record when he rushed in for his 25th career touchdown in Pace's season-finale win over Southern Connecticut State.

All in all, the Setters' 6-4 record in 2019 marked back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 1995-96. The Blue and Gold have put together a 13-7 record over the last two years.
