2016-17: Placed first at the NE10 Championships in the 100-breast with a time of 56.70… Placed third in 100-free at the conference championships with a time of 46.80… Named NE10 Men’s Swimmer of the Week on three occasions… Member of the NE10 Men’s Relay Team of the Week on Jan. 30… Named ECAC Swimmer of the Week for week ending Jan. 15… As member of 400-yard medley relay team, set top time in the NE10 at ECAC Winter Championships with time of 3:30.43… Won 200-breast at ECAC’s (2:05.70)… Placed second in both the 200-free (1:42.49) and 100-breast (57.59) at ECAC’s… Won all four of his events in Pace’s victory over Vassar (Jan. 25).

2015-2016: Selected as the Northeast-10 Conference Swimming and Diving Men's Rookie of the Year. Named Northeast-10 Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week on four different occasions this season. He was also picked as the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week three times. Earned six medals at the 2016 Northeast-10 Conference Championship meet. Liu set new individual program records in the 50-yard freestyle (20.84), 100-yard freestyle (45.80), 200-yard freestyle (1:41.26) and the 100-yard breaststroke (56.13). He was also a part of the record-breaking 200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard medley relay teams this year. Liu also tallied 17 individual dual-meet wins throughout the regular season.
